Our Spring Presentation
WHO DIED IN OFFICE
Tuesday, May 7th at 7pm
Minnetonka City Hall, 7pm
Come join us! Hear Lorraine Kretchman
speak about 9 leaders’ medical conditions
and circumstances of their passing. Hear
about four of our presidents who were
assassinated and how these events may
have changed our country’s history.
Refreshments will be served.

The museum has some amazing items:
• Charles Burwell’s mill desk and stove
• A cranberry picker
• A civil war jacket
• A washing machine with rollers
• A Victorian ladies’ lounger and organ
• Horse Collars and gear
• Many tools and gears
• A letterhead engraver
• A buggy foot warmer
• Cooking items and lamps
• Two buffets and a table with china
• The old Burwell Dog (Romulas/Remas lore)
• Paintings of the Burwell House
• Special Monthly displays and so much more
TRIVIA NIGHT: We had a noisy, exciting night at
Unmapped Brewery. We had about 75 people playing
trivia with us. Lots of laughs and new facts learned about the Glen Lake area.

We will have new displays and a Scavenger Hunt too!

We are looking for members who would like to become Board Members for the Minnetonka Historical Society. Specifically, we are looking for folks who would like to work on our Web Site or maintain membership data. Our board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month starting at 7pm and ending promptly at 8.
